Mrs. Akter
English literature and early years teacher, Dhaka
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Dhaka Secondary School
- 1997 to 2013
- English, Bengali
Dhaka Secondary School was my second home. I taught English literature there from 1997 to 2013, mostly Grade 11.
Over the years I had 910 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Akter: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
