I taught statistics at Crescent Boys' School in Birmingham from 1994 to 2018. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I had 1,060 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Agarwal: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
