Mrs. Abera
French and environmental science teacher, Jimma
- 🇪🇹 Jimma, Oromia, Ethiopia
- Jimma Technical College
- Since 1985
- English, Amharic
I teach French at Jimma Technical College in Jimma since 1985. Most days I teach mixed-ability classes, and I learn every name in the first week.
I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Abera: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me French in 2010 at Jimma Technical College. I still remember the snow day nobody expected.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
