Mrs. Abera

31 years teaching accounting in Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Addis Ababa Grammar School
  • Since 1986
  • English
For 40 years I have been the accounting teacher at Addis Ababa Grammar School. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I've had 2,040 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Mrs. Abera

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
