Mrs. Abera
Accounting and English literature teacher, Addis Ababa
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Since 2015
- English, Amharic
For eleven years I have been the accounting teacher at Our Lady of Peace Grammar School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mrs. Abera
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
