Mrs. Abdul
Social studies and environmental science teacher, Tema
- 🇬🇭 Tema, Greater Accra, Ghana
- Tema Girls' School
- Since 1985
- English, Twi
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and 41 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 2,050 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mrs. Abdul
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mrs. Abdul: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
