Mr. Zhou
17 years teaching English literature in Gold Coast
- 🇦🇺 Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia
- Hope Public School
- Since 1986
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 40 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,880 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Zhou
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Zhou: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me English literature in 1990 at Hope Public School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
