Mr. Zakaria
28 years teaching Spanish in Tarkwa
- 🇬🇭 Tarkwa, Western, Ghana
- Harbor Boys' School
- 2006 to 2019
- English, Twi
For 13 years I was the Spanish teacher at Harbor Boys' School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Mr. Zakaria
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Zakaria: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
