For 48 years I have been the religious studies teacher at Acacia Girls' School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,730 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
