Mr. Yusuf
Teacher at Lagos High School, loves history
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Lagos High School
- Since 2013
- English, Igbo
I came to teaching late, after working as a clerk, and 13 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Mr. Yusuf
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Yusuf: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
