Mr. Yu
Social studies and geography teacher, Shreveport
- 🇺🇸 Shreveport, Louisiana, United States
- Unity Girls' School
- Since 2015
- English, Mandarin
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and eleven years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Mr. Yu
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Yu: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
