Mr. Young
Music teacher at Houston Public School, 1998 to 2007

I taught music at Houston Public School in Houston from 1998 to 2007. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I never turned anyone away.
Over the years I had 170 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
What gifts mean to Mr. Young: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
