Mr. Yilma
History and accounting teacher, Addis Ababa
- 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
- Addis Ababa Grammar School
- Since 1978
- English, Amharic
For 48 years I have been the history teacher at Addis Ababa Grammar School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I make terrible puns.
More about Mr. Yilma
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
