Mr. Yilma
Retired early years teacher from Maple Ridge Secondary School
- 🇪🇹 Mekelle, Tigray, Ethiopia
- Maple Ridge Secondary School
- 1986 to 2005
- English, Amharic
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 19 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
