Mr. Yavuz
Biology teacher at Harbor Secondary School, 1990 to 1999
- 🇹🇷 İzmir, İzmir, Türkiye
- Harbor Secondary School
- 1990 to 1999
- English, Turkish
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.
More about Mr. Yavuz
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Yavuz: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
