Mr. Yates
Religious studies teacher at Ashford Academy, Since 1979
- 🇨🇦 Toronto, Ontario, Canada
- Ashford Academy
- Since 1979
- English, Spanish
Ashford Academy is my second home. I teach religious studies there since 1979, mostly the final-year class.
Over the years I've had 2,020 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Yates
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Yates: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
