Mr. Yates
Geography and Spanish teacher, Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Maple Ridge Primary School
- 1992 to 2022
- English
I taught geography at Maple Ridge Primary School in Los Angeles from 1992 to 2022. Most days I taught Year 10, and I never turned anyone away.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Mr. Yates
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Mr. Yates: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
