Mr. Yassin
26 years teaching drama in Heliopolis
- 🇪🇬 Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt
- Heliopolis Middle School
- Since 1985
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 41 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
What gifts mean to Mr. Yassin: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me drama in 1993 at Heliopolis Middle School. I still remember the surprise birthday cake.

You taught me drama in 2002 at Heliopolis Middle School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam!
