Teacher at Dehiwala Technical College, loves French
- 🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
- Dehiwala Technical College
- Since 1998

For 28 years I have been the French teacher at Dehiwala Technical College. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Yapa
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Yapa: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
