I teach music at Setagaya Middle School in Setagaya since 1999. Most days I teach Year 10, and I never raise my voice.
Over the years I've had 540 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Yamazaki
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Yamazaki: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

I'm a mechanic now and I honestly think it started in your classroom. Greetings from Guadalupe.

You taught me music in 2010 at Setagaya Middle School. I still remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
