Mr. Yamazaki
Design and technology and mathematics teacher, Tokyo
- 🇯🇵 Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan
- Unity Boys' School
- 2012 to 2020
- Japanese
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and eight years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Yamazaki
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Yamazaki: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

you taught me design and technology in 2015 at Unity Boys' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

You taught me design and technology in 2016 at Unity Boys' School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
