Mr. Yamashita
Spanish and geography teacher, Kobe
- 🇯🇵 Kobe, Hyogo, Japan
- Unity Public School
- Since 1988
- Japanese
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 38 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Mr. Yamashita
If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Mr. Yamashita: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
