Mr. Yamamoto
Chemistry and computer science teacher, Sakai
- 🇯🇵 Sakai, Osaka, Japan
- Gateway Technical College
- 1992 to 2000
- English, Japanese
For eight years I was the chemistry teacher at Gateway Technical College. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 240 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Yamamoto
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Yamamoto: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
