For 23 years I was the religious studies teacher at Ankara Girls' School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the robotics club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Yalçın
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
