Mr. Yakubu
Early years and religious studies teacher, Ogbomosho
- 🇳🇬 Ogbomosho, Oyo, Nigeria
- Ogbomosho Public School
- Since 1983
- English, French
For 43 years I have been the early years teacher at Ogbomosho Public School. I teach Year 10 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,680 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Yakubu
If you were in my Year 10 class, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Mr. Yakubu: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me early years in 2006 at Ogbomosho Public School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand
