Mr. Xie
Taught computer science at Portland Secondary School
- 🇺🇸 Portland, Oregon, United States
- Portland Secondary School
- 1985 to 1993
- English, Mandarin
Portland Secondary School was my second home. I taught computer science there from 1985 to 1993, mostly Year 9.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Xie
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Xie: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
