Mr. Xavier
12 years teaching French in Recife
- 🇧🇷 Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil
- Recife Secondary School
- Since 1983
- Portuguese
I teach French and accounting at Recife Secondary School, Recife. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Xavier
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Xavier: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me French in 2024 at Recife Secondary School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

You taught me French in 1985 at Recife Secondary School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
