Mr. Xavier

14 years teaching Spanish in Duque de Caxias

  • 🇧🇷 Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  • Crescent Middle School
  • 1998 to 2013
  • Portuguese
For 15 years I was the Spanish teacher at Crescent Middle School. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. Over the years I had 420 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Mr. Xavier: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
