For twelve years I was the English literature teacher at Bahir Dar Middle School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
