Mr. Woods

Teacher at Kilimanjaro Girls' School, loves French

  • 🇺🇸 Durham, North Carolina, United States
  • Kilimanjaro Girls' School
  • Since 1980
  • English
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 46 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Over the years I've had 2,070 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Mr. Woods

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Woods: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
