Art and geography teacher, Manchester

- Oakwood Girls' School
- Since 2011

I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 15 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 320 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
What gifts mean to Mr. Wood: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me art in 2012 at Oakwood Girls' School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
