Mr. Wolde

Physics and agriculture teacher, Addis Ababa

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Addis Ababa Academy
  • 1996 to 2022
  • English, Amharic
For 26 years I was the physics teacher at Addis Ababa Academy. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Mr. Wolde

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Mr. Wolde: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
