For 45 years I have been the chemistry teacher at Jakarta Selatan Middle School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the school newspaper after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Mr. Winata
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Winata: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
