For 44 years I have been the home economics teacher at Jakarta Girls' School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's quiz team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Mr. Winata
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Winata: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
