Mr. Wijaya

Accounting and French teacher, Yogyakarta

  • 🇮🇩 Yogyakarta, Yogyakarta, Indonesia
  • Harbor Secondary School
  • 1997 to 2005
  • English, Indonesian
For eight years I was the accounting teacher at Harbor Secondary School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Mr. Wijaya

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Wijaya: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
