Mr. Whitfield
Teacher at Auckland Grammar School, loves early years
- 🇳🇿 Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand
- 1980 to 1989
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and nine years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Mr. Whitfield
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Whitfield: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
