I teach environmental science and physics at Akron Middle School, Akron. I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Whitfield
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Whitfield: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
