I taught physics and chemistry at Andes Girls' School, Bronx. I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I had 460 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Mr. Whitfield
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
