I taught English literature at Westbrook High School in San Diego from 1992 to 2008. Most days I taught teenagers, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 670 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
