Mr. Welch
Special education and English literature teacher, Manchester
- 🇬🇧 Manchester, England, United Kingdom
- Oakwood Middle School
- Since 2001
- English, French
For 25 years I have been the special education teacher at Oakwood Middle School. I teach Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Mr. Welch
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Welch: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
