Mr. Welch
24 years teaching geography in Newcastle upon Tyne
- 🇬🇧 Newcastle upon Tyne, England, United Kingdom
- Since 1988
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 38 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,860 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Welch
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the mountains, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Welch: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.

you taught me geography in 2006 at St. Anne's High School. I still remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam. Truly.
