I teach art at Sakura Boys' School in San Francisco since 1986. Most days I teach Year 9, and I never raise my voice.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
