Mr. Welch
Teacher at Oakland Academy, loves accounting
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Academy
- 1998 to 2024
- English
For 26 years I was the accounting teacher at Oakland Academy. I taught Grade 6 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Mr. Welch
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Mr. Welch: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
