Mr. Wekesa
Physics and computer science teacher, Nakuru
- 🇰🇪 Nakuru, Nakuru, Kenya
- Good Shepherd Boys' School
- Since 2011
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 15 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 890 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Mr. Wekesa
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Wekesa: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
