Mr. Waweru
Retired economics teacher from Naivasha Academy
- 🇰🇪 Naivasha, Nakuru, Kenya
- Naivasha Academy
- 2018 to 2025
- English, Swahili
I taught economics at Naivasha Academy in Naivasha from 2018 to 2025. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and my door was open at lunch.
Over the years I had 240 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.

What gifts mean to Mr. Waweru: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
