I taught art at Los Angeles Secondary School in Los Angeles from 2014 to 2025. Most days I taught first-year students, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I ran the choir after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
