Mr. Walia
Social studies and computer science teacher, Mumbai
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Elmwood Secondary School
- Since 1993
- English, Hindi
I teach social studies at Elmwood Secondary School in Mumbai since 1993. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Mr. Walia
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Mr. Walia: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
