Mr. Wafula
Religious studies and history teacher, Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Cedar Grove High School
- Since 1997
- English, Swahili
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 29 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Mr. Wafula
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

I was in your the youngest children class in 2007. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Jeddah.
