I taught computer science at Sunrise Academy in Kharkiv from 2007 to 2015. Most days I taught mixed-ability classes, and I learned every name in the first week.
Over the years I had 140 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Mr. Volkov: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
