Mr. Vieira
17 years teaching art in Rio de Janeiro
- 🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Cedar Grove Girls' School
- 1990 to 2020
- Portuguese
I taught art at Cedar Grove Girls' School in Rio de Janeiro from 1990 to 2020. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I played music while people worked.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mr. Vieira
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Mr. Vieira: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
